His MARA role has never appeared in a securities filing
Marathon Digital announced Madnani's appointment in a press release, and his profiles describe him as Managing Director, International. A full-text search of every document MARA has filed with the SEC returns his name zero times.

The record
Established
- MARA (Marathon Digital Holdings, SEC CIK 0001507605) announced Madnani's appointment as Managing Director for EMEA expansion in a press release on its investor relations site.
- A full-text search of the SEC EDGAR system restricted to CIK 0001507605 returns zero documents containing the name 'Madnani'.
- A full-text search of the entire EDGAR corpus for the exact phrase 'Manoj Madnani' returns one document: a 2010 proxy-voting record filed by Fidelity Investment Trust, unrelated to MARA.
- A search of the entire EDGAR corpus for 'Manoj Narender Madnani' returns zero documents.
Unresolved
- Whether the role carries any function that would require disclosure. US issuers name executive officers and directors in their filings; other senior staff are generally not named, and nothing obliges a company to file a press-released appointment.
The title travels well. “Managing Director, International, MARA” appears on Bloomberg, on LinkedIn, on conference speaker pages and in every profile written about him since 2024. MARA itself announced the appointment.
It has never appeared in a document MARA filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
What the search returns
EDGAR’s full-text index covers everything filed since 2001. Restricted to MARA’s own CIK — 0001507605 — a search for “Madnani” returns zero results.
Widen it to the entire corpus, every filer, and the exact phrase “Manoj Madnani” returns exactly one document: a proxy-voting record filed by Fidelity Investment Trust in August 2010, which has nothing to do with him. The full legal form, “Manoj Narender Madnani”, returns zero.
What that does and does not mean
It does not mean the appointment is not real. MARA announced it on its own investor relations page, and that page is still up.
US issuers are required to name their directors and their executive officers — a defined term covering the people who make policy decisions for the company. Senior staff below that line are not named, and a company is under no obligation to file a press release with the Commission.
So the absence is entirely consistent with a genuine senior appointment that does not meet the disclosure threshold. It is also the reason a reader should be careful with the phrase “MARA executive”: on the public record of the company’s filings, he is not one.
Why an archive records this
Because the distinction between what a company announces and what it files is exactly the distinction this site exists to hold. A press release is the company talking about itself. A filing is the company talking to a regulator, under penalty.
Both are on the file. They are not the same thing, and they are not labelled the same.
